Mr.
Viren Kapadia is a partner with Sherani & Co.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree majoring
in Politics and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Auckland
University, New Zealand in 1984. He joined Sherani
& Co. in 1984 as an associate Barrister &
Solicitor. His other academic achievements include
a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, which he obtained
from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia in
1991.
Mr. Viren Kapadia was admitted to the Supreme Court
of New Zealand in 1983 and to the High Court of
Fiji in 1984. In 1987 he was admitted to the Supreme
Court of the Australian Capital Territory. In 1988
he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
He is a Notary Public in Fiji.
From 1988 to 1991 he practised law in Melbourne,
Australia. In 1992 he returned to Fiji and resumed
employment with Sherani & Co. until 1999 when
he became a partner of the firm.
Mr. Viren Kapadia practises in the areas of Commercial
and Civil Litigation, General Conveyancing, Judicial
Reviews, Personal Injury, Land Transport, Trade
Practices, Admiralty Law and Banking and Finance.
He is a member of the Fiji Law Society, Law Institute
of Victoria, an Associate of the Society of Certified
Practising Accountants in Australia and a member
of the Chartered Institute of Transport of New Zealand.
Mr. Viren Kapadia speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati.
